Backz from my sailing expidition camp from 15-19 june. IT TOTALLY ROCKS, an unforgetable camp ever. cause is da best! with johnathan,singkiat,fransic and a fat guy call keng hee,and 8 other more ppl we dunno1st day:
we departed fomr csc changi sailing club. WE did lota things..like, make breakfast and dinner for the rest of the crew. we had alot of fun this day, we did net sailing. the boat deploy a net in the water and we jump into it..it was damn fun and thrilling. and we did night sailing, i sail the boat at 4am-6am as night duty. it was so dark at sea, so i rely on the compass. i climbed the mast with singkiat ,it was 20meters high, so kinda scared..., but, we eventaully made it there and cling on the ropes. the sea was damn beutiful. 360view of water and no sight of land. especailly the sunset.
2nd day:
we reached there , the water was crystal clear, and i volenteered to kyat out first with singkiat. so we are the first 2 person to touch down on land. when we kyat over the water, we could see the corals clearly and marine lifes...it was a nice sight. nothing much today, juz lazing in water..until bout3pm den we went rock climbing and abseiling ( not those MAn-made rock
walls) those nature walls and more risky and scary. i climb a 80 degree vertical wall with no safty equipment, so i was kinda scared. we got to the top , it was about50meteres. i saw the whole lagoon of the island from the top. it was 10000 times better then sentosa. ,the abseiling down was also scary, so i tell jokes to my friends while i abseil. oh ya..got lota red ant bites.
3rd day:
This day, we went kyatking around the island and to edmerald lagoon. , i duno why it is called that, maybe the water was transparent green there. ok,anyway, we did snorkaling and take many pics underwater.haha , from 10am-5pm... i did suntanning and my skin at my back started to peel off. We did astronomy that day too..., that place have no man-made lights..so it was completely dark, perfect for star gazing. we saw many many starts ,venus and jupiter.. through a telescope.it juz rock alot. and the sand on the beach , it is no ordinary sand. the texture is 100 times better then sentosa sand.like u walking on flour like that.
4thday:
i was woken up at 8am by the sun shining on my face (i slept on top of the boat) we went rock climbing again,this time a different place. it was difficult to climb cause, the soil is slippery and rocks wet and rough...and alot of branches and redants...incets...eww..ok, anyway, we made it to the top and have a 180 view of the lagoon.., another beutiful view, this time, i took pictures of it with my camera.after this, we prepare to head back to singapore at 5pm. our duty is to sail the ship from 8pm-12am den we can go sleep
5thday: my friend fransic is damn irratating, always wake me up and tell jokes to me, i eventually got tired of his jokes and i went back to sleep. the next morning i go scold him haha. i know he won't mind. thet ship is moving at 5knots, and damn slow ship lor..like my ah ma walking speed. 5knots= 15km/hour the distance back is 360km! so, we took 24hours to reach back singapore. never saw civilization for 5days..,haha, so lost contact of the world for that period of time. i kinda miss that place now.
