Yesterday was my having my best time ever related to flying.
7am- reached sch and eat my $2 soyabean for breakfast
8:30am- pack 2 giant rc planes into the van ready to set off to woodlands field
9am- Eat again at woodland's coffeeshop
10am- reached flying field and begain setting up
12am- played around with easystar, some warm up rounds before the real deal.
1pm- Still setting up the plane, electonics and trimming
2pm- some police car came to check on parked cars beside the flying field
3pm- taxi the 2 giants to the runway and ready for takeoff, global hawk failed to takeoff due to lack of thrust, skyblade was up next and up it goes in a couple of meters of runway,flies for 1min30seconcds before landing the gentle beast. IT WAS INCREDIBLE.
4pm- packed up and went home sunburned.
By the way ,the 2 planes name are call skyblade (i mean skybus!! or skyvan!! cause it looks like one,haha.) and the other is the amazing giant , the global hawk!!!!
I'll be piloting the global hawk in the next few weeks, probably and most likly to be 6th november. Hope everything turns out well!
